His breath on my cheek, a freezing touch like blood-red lips, tore me from my dream.
'Same thing again, when will it end?' I ask myself, trying to calm raging heart. This happened yet another time this week... third, fourth time? The same dream, the same 'someone', 'cause how can you name somebody... somebody like HIM... No human being can match him, a long-haired, fair-skinned blonde of slim figure and eyes that paralyze.... A deep, velvet gaze of blood-brown hue...
The alarm clock annouced it's presence; it's wail painfully wounded my ears... Half six in the morning.... The pale dawn... Mornings are not my forte after all. With great difficulty i pulled myself off of the bed, my destination - the bathroom. Of course, puffed up eyes again, earthen skin an that... something... that wasn't there in the evening and there it is now... A bruise-livid oval-shaped mark on my right shoulder...
'Wake up Netta...!' I closed my eyes... A deep breath... One. Two. Three... I tried to remember yesterday; have i bumped into something...? Nothing.... A compete void....
'Netta!' father loudly voiced his lack of patience. 'You're not planning on spending the whole morning in the bathroom, do you? I'll be late at the HQ, and we got a visit from some high-ranking asshole, who wanted to inspect the whole company.'
'Yes, yes... just a minute.' I rapidly covered up the mark, hung a towel round my sholder and briskly left the bathroom... My father was leaning agains a wall, holding an envelope.
'It's for you... There's only your name on it, nothing else...' He held out the envelope towords me...
'A letter.... To me?' My face was struck with surprise, 'cause I only get letters twice a year, for Christmas and birthday..
'Ehm.. thanks' I took the letter in hand. 'Probably form mom, she must have changed her mind and decided to write more often' I jested.
I went towards my room, but before I crossed the threshold of 'my kingdom' i turned in place; father was still looking at me. 'Besides, you'll do fine, there's no better major than you are.' Not waiting for his reaction, i slammed the door behind me... Now it's just me, my heart that beat in my chest like crazy, and that envelope that seared me with curiosity.
